“WARNING: GRAPHIC, VIOLENT, DISTURBING CONTENT AT LINK BELOW
There is a link to the most disturbing video I have ever seen in this article, from the Creeping Sharia website.
Unbelievably, it shows a child beheading an adult male, apparently an infidel Muslim, who is alive when the sawing and cutting starts. All the while, his little buddies are in a circle, watching, cheering and praising Allah. These are children! According to the website, this is just one of many such training videos Muslims have posted on the internet. I have no interest in looking at any part of another one.
Nor do I need to see the internet videos of the beheadings of Americans Daniel Pearl (to which Khalid Sheikh Mohammed has confessed) and Nicholas Berg.
The bottom line here is that what you see in this video is the next generation of 9/11 attackers being groomed to kill us. That children could participate cheerily and lustily in this kind of raw, brutal barbarity tells you all you need to know about the spirit that animates Islam. The spirit of Islam is the spirit of Satan himself, the one whom Jesus said came only to rob, kill, and destroy.
Closing Gitmo and sending the uncles of these young boys to art therapy classes is not going to make this go away. The only thing that can possibly protect us from this evil, when they come against us, is a righteous and overwhelming display of lethal force. Meanwhile, the practitioners of this religion should not be allowed to enter the United States, even as visitors. …”

“Instead of being viewed as lazy or slackers, workers who catch 40 winks in the afternoon may be gaining a bit more respect or at least a bit more understanding. Researchers from the University of California, Berkeley, found that napping an hour can dramatically restore and boost your brain power. Amazingly, they found a nap can actually make you smarter.
On the other hand, the more hours we spend awake, the more sluggish our minds become. These findings should give pause to college students who pull “all nighters” cramming for finals. The new study found this practice decreases the ability to learn by nearly 40 percent.
“Sleep not only rights the wrong of prolonged wakefullness, but at a neurocognitive level, it moves you beyond where you were before you took a nap,” Matthew Walker, an assistant professor of psychology at UC Berkeley and lead investigator, said in a statement. …”

“In the closing days of the Congressional health care debate, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) told the National Association of Counties: “We have to pass the bill so that you can find out what is in it.” Today marks the end of just the first week of life under Obamacare and Speaker Pelosi has been proven right: we are just now finding out what is in it.
This past Friday, AT&T, the biggest U.S. telephone company, announced that it would take a $1 billion charge against earnings thanks to tax changes buried in the 2,300+ page bill. $1 billion. That is a full third of AT&T’s $3 billion earnings for the fourth quarter of 2009.
The tax charges stem from changes Obamacare makes to the tax treatment of prescription-drug benefits for retirees. Companies used to be able to deduct part of their costs for providing drug benefits to their retirees, but Obamacare cancels that deduction.
Roland McDevitt, director of health care research at Towers Watson, tells the Wall Street Journal, they “have a stream of tax benefits they are losing way out in the future.”
Since companies had counted on these deductions for current and future retirees as an existing asset under the old law, accounting rules require firms to take the full loss for the change in the same quarter in which the tax law is changed. Hence Friday’s announcement to inform shareholders that AT&T’s bottom line was about to take a $1 billion hit.
And AT&T is not alone. Towers Watson estimates that just this tax change alone will eliminate $14 billion in U.S. corporate profits. That’s $14 billion less American employers have to spend creating new jobs when our unemployment rate is still 9.7%.
And AT&T is not the only company informing employees that Obamacare is going to mean worse care for them. Verizon Communications, the second biggest U.S. phone company, told employees last week that Obamacare “may have significant implications for both retirees and employers.” …”

“Bingeing on high-calorie foods may be as addictive as cocaine or nicotine, and could cause compulsive eating and obesity, according to a new study.
The findings in a study of animals cannot be directly applied to human obesity, but may help in understanding the condition and in developing therapies to treat it, researchers wrote in the journal “Nature Neuroscience.”
The study, involving rats, found that overconsumption of high-calorie food can trigger addiction-like responses in the brain and that high-calorie food can turn rats into compulsive eaters in a laboratory setting, the article said.
The scientists also found decreased levels of a specific dopamine receptor a brain chemical that allows a feeling of reward in overweight rats, as has been reported in humans addicted to drugs, the article said.
“Obesity may be a form of compulsive eating. Other treatments in development for other forms of compulsion, for example drug addiction, may be very useful for the treatment of obesity,” researcher Paul Kenny of The Scripps Research Institute in Florida said in a telephone interview. …”

“During the thorough coverage of H.R.3590 America thought it was free of a ‘Healthcare System’ that allowed a national medical registry to be created and the population to be tagged with implantable RFID chips. But a second heath care related bill called “The Reconciliation Act of 2010” (2300 pages) was recently passed by the Senate on March 25th after being passed by the House on March 21st. This bill has been cleared for the White House and awaits the signature of the Dictator and Chief. Buried in the text of the 2300 page monstrosity in section 2521, the creation of a National Medical Device Registry is enacted. This is portrayed as a registry to collect safety data on medical devices such as pacemakers and to put the safety data in a publicly accessible national electronic database.
So basically this bill creates a National Database of any type of data deemed appropriate by the executive branch of the US Federal Government. This could literally be anything. This could include anything you might have expected to find in an East German Stasi file. All of this data will then be linked to a “Class II implantable device” under your skin. There you have it, just like Lindsey Williams warned us. Forget the national ID card, implantable microchips are coming to a clinic near you no later than 36 months after the bill is signed into law. …”

“The values and freedoms that made our country great are under attack.
From granting the terrorists who attacked our nation the same constitutional rights you and I enjoy as American citizens to the reckless spending and debt that is bankrupting our nation to the reordering of one-sixth of the economy through nationalization of our health care system, the Obama Democrats are remaking America in their own elitist, liberal vision.
Barack Obama, Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid and their leftist allies believe that turning America into a European social welfare state is the solution to the trials we face as a nation.
There is another way to meet the challenges facing our country and it begins with strong Republican leadership and ideas. But first, we must stop the Democrats’ radical assault on America by defeating them at the polls in 2010.
Americans like you — who believe in limited government, fiscal discipline, a strong national defense and individual freedom — are essential to this effort. Your commitment is one of the reasons why the Republican Party won historic victories in the 2009 elections and elected Scott Brown to the U.S. Senate in the Democrat stronghold of Massachusetts this year. …”

“A Pennsylvania judge has said no to a lesbian pair seeking a divorce — and a state-based family advocate is applauding that decision.
Carole Ann Kern and Robin Lynn Taney were married in June 2009 in Massachusetts, where homosexual “marriage” is legal. When they did not meet the residency requirements to file for divorce in that state, they returned to their home state and filed there. But Berks County Judge Scott Lash ruled as “unsupportable” the couple’s argument that same-sex marriage passes the test for being a “fundamental right.”
“This is a plea for social change,” the judge wrote. “If homosexuals had a fundamental right to be married to each other, this plea would be unnecessary.”
Diane Gramley of the American Family Association of Pennsylvania reacts to the judge’s ruling. “Well, I think we have at least one good judge in Pennsylvania,” she comments. “It was encouraging that he ruled that this lesbian couple could not get a divorce in Pennsylvania, because Pennsylvania does not recognize their marriage to begin with.”
“Courts should be reluctant to identify a right as fundamental when not clearly required by the Constitution or established precedent. A court who finds a fundamental right where none exists bypasses the legislative process and denies the people a voice in effecting social policy, in essence, trumping democracy by judicial fiat.” …”

Whereas: The Federal Reserve refuses to give a public accounting of the TRILLIONS in recent taxpayer-backed loans; and
Whereas: Congress has the responsibility to force a public audit of the Federal Reserve, and the American people deserve to know how their tax dollars are being spent; and
Whereas: Allowing the Fed to remain out of control and shrouded in secrecy clearly allows for abuse and the continued stealing of our tax dollars through inflation and unaccounted electronic bank “loans”; and
Whereas: The Federal Reserve’s abuses lead to constant economic crises like the current housing crisis, international banking crisis and the resulting chaos; and
Whereas: The Federal Reserve System forces fuel, food, housing, medical care and education costs upward, meaning that everyone who is NOT on the government dole is forced to make do with less as the value of money slowly decreases; and
Whereas: History shows us that riots, violence and full-scale police states can result when people finally realize fiat money isn’t worth the paper it’s printed on and REFUSE to accept it;
Therefore: I urge you to cosponsor and make every effort to seek roll call votes on the Audit the Fed Bill, H.R. 1207/S 604.
By now, most Adventists are aware that PBS will soon be premiering on its stations the “The Adventists” documentary. I did have the privilege of viewing the film on March 27 produced and directed by Journey Films founder Martin Doblmeier. I want to share with you some excerpts published by the “Adventist Review” together with some comments of my own.
*********
“Such appears to be the case with a film entitled The Adventists that will be premiering on PBS stations the first week of April to coincide with National Public Health Week, April 5-11. Also available as a DVD, it was produced by Journey Films, a company that makes documentaries on topics of religion, faith, and spirituality. This one-hour program seeks to represent fairly the unique health message that the Seventh-day Adventist Church has advocated since the very earliest years of its organization. At the very time when American society has been embroiled too often acrimoniously in an ideological dispute over health care, this film introduces and investigates a spiritual centrality of health that is being completely overlooked by both sides of the issue in the heat of recent political debate.”

Modern archaeology has a tendency to ignore the Bible as a source of reliable historic information. Nevertheless, quite often, there is a way to reconcile the information we find in the Bible with the facts discovered by archaeologists. Here is one example of how the conquest of Canaan as recorded in the Bible can be interpreted in a way that agrees with the archaeologist findings:

“The reader has two primary choices: The oppression of Israel occurred during the New Kingdom under Thutmose III or Rameses II while Egypt was at the pinnacle of its empire. After his death the Exodus occurred. Egypt was little affected by the plagues and Israel leaving. Israel entered the Negev and left no remains during their forty-year stay. There were no cities in the Transjordan for Moses to destroy. The evidence for the destruction of Jericho is confusing. If the walls did fall, there is no evidence for destruction by fire and the city was promptly re-inhabited. Of the conquest of Ai and Arad, there is no evidence. The conquest of the rest of Canaan occurred over many generations probably by a peasant revolt and the story later embellished. Israel adopted the culture of the Canaanites. The culture and population declined until the time of Solomon when Israel was a poor and backward nation. The kingdom recovers in the succeeding generations.

“Sometime ago, as I was reading some material related to the controversy taking place regarding the teaching of the theory of evolution as the only credible explanation for origins, I came across an article written by Kevin D. Paulson which impressed me especially because it reflected my understanding of origins.
By coincidence, I was alerted by a reader of my www.sdaforum.com web site to the fact that Paulson had written another article dealing with a topic I have been deeply interested in for the last couple of decades and which coincides with the theme of my doctoral dissertation: The Adventist understanding of the practice of abortion.
Of course, this aroused my interest. I decided to contact Paulson and he kindly sent me an attachment containing a copy of said article. You can read his entire article by clicking on the Internet Link listed below. To read my response to his arguments, click on the “Comments” link.

“Some Adventists seem to be forgetting this. Many are forming opinions about abortion, not from the study of Scripture or the Spirit of Prophecy writings, but from listening to popular Christian leaders like James Dobson, Tim LaHaye, Franky Schaeffer, and Bill Gothard. Sincere though they may be, these men espouse many theological errors and have no understanding of God’s truth for this time. Seventh- day Adventists should listen to such persons with extreme care and discriminating judgment.”
“Among the Adventist pioneers, J.N. Andrews and John Harvey Kellogg wrote against abortion (6), yet the writings of Ellen White maintain the silence of Scripture on the subject.”
“Despite the fact that abortion has been controversial throughout history, neither the Bible nor the writings of Ellen White speak dogmatically concerning it, despite a multitude of very precise counsels on nearly every related topic. Ellen White declares: “Before accepting any doctrine or precept we should demand a plain ‘thus saith the Lord’ in its support” …”

“According to Spectrum Magazine, the Oroville Seventh-day Adventist Church has recommended the NCC “vote a request that the General Conference Church Manual Committee rewrite Fundamental Belief #6 :
Creation is a topic of concern to the Oroville Church. It placed two agenda items concerning this topic on the agenda, including a recommendation that the NCC vote a request that the General Conference Church Manual Committee rewrite Fundamental Belief #6 to reflect the more specific language found in “An Affirmation of Creation Report” and “Response to An Affirmation of Creation.”
In the second motion on this topic, Oroville suggests that NCC “institute structures for accountability that will ensure that the pastors in our churches, and the faculty in our educational institutions adhere in their teachings and lives to the Biblical principles expressed in the “Church Manual” especially:
A literal Creation in 6 days. . . And the motion requires that the conference report back to the constituency on what action is taken. …”
“Today on a segment of the “Glen Beck Show” on FOX (Fox Cable News) was the following:
“Today, even though President Obama is against off shore drilling for our country, he signed an executive order to loan 2 Billion of our taxpayers dollars to a Brazilian Oil Exploration Company (which is the 8th largest company in the entire world) to drill for oil off the coast of Brazil ! The oil that comes from this operation is for the sole purpose and use of China and NOT THE USA ! Now here’s the real clincher…the Chinese government is under contract to purchase all the oil that this oil field will produce, which is hundreds of millions of barrels of oil”.
We have absolutely no gain from this transaction whatsoever!
Wait, it gets more interesting.
Guess who is the largest individual stockholder of this Brazilian Oil Company and who would benefit most from this? It is American BILLIONAIRE, George Soros, who was one of President Obama’s most generous financial supporter during his campaign.
If you are able to connect the dots and follow the money, you are probably as upset as I am. Not a word of this transaction was broadcast on any of the other news networks!
Forward this factual e-mail to others who care about this country and where it is going. Also, let all of your Government representatives know how you feel about this.”
Below is the Wall street Journal article to confirm this.

“HAVANA — It perhaps was not the endorsement President Barack Obama and the Democrats in Congress were looking for.
Cuban revolutionary leader Fidel Castro on Thursday declared passage of American health care reform “a miracle” and a major victory for Obama’s presidency, but couldn’t help chide the United States for taking so long to enact what communist Cuba achieved decades ago.
“We consider health reform to have been an important battle and a success of his (Obama’s) government,” Castro wrote in an essay published in state media, adding that it would strengthen the president’s hand against lobbyists and “mercenaries.”
But the Cuban leader also used the lengthy piece to criticize the American president for his lack of leadership on climate change and immigration reform, and for his decision to send more troops to Afghanistan, among many other things.
And he said it was remarkable that the most powerful country on earth took more than two centuries from its founding to approve something as basic as health benefits for all. …”
“As the Democrats pushed through the $940 billion healthcare reform bill, and President Obama signed it into law, the National Inflation Association (NIA) has said the legislation will significantly contribute to an outbreak of hyperinflation in the United States by 2015.
Although the Congressional Budget Office is estimating that the healthcare bill will cost $940 billion over the next 10 years, NIA members pointed out that when Medicare was created in 1966 the House Ways and Means Committee estimated that in 1990 its cost would reach $12 billion per year.
However, the actual cost that year was $107 billionmeaning it was 792 percent more than what had been projectedand today Medicare costs $408 billion annually.
“If history is any indication, the actual cost [of the healthcare reform] will likely be several trillion dollars,” the organization asserted. “[We] believe the healthcare bill will be the final nail in the coffin of the U.S. economy and will just about guarantee that we will see hyperinflation by the year 2015.” …”
